Before, parents often feared going out of the apartment because they didn’t want to get caught hauling the massive, unattractive diaper bag. The extremely silly and dreadful design doesn’t help too. The conventional diaper bags were worn on the shoulders, made of plastic, oversized with only one central pocket. It was pretty difficulty to organize because the small baby products get mixed up with the larger ones. The bottles tend to fall over during transport because older versions don’t have the cylindrical bottle pockets yet.

Thank goodness pink diaper bags evolved into something fashionable yet tremendously functional that mom or dad can’t be without it. Diaper bags are not supposed to just hold diapers. In fact, they should be spacious enough to hold other crucial baby stuff including baby bottles, burp cloths, clothes, bibs, wipes, diaper cream and talc powder. Some parents like to bring small playthings, journals and snacks. All of these should be able to fit a diaper bag so that mommies and daddies won’t have a hard time keeping their babies spotless, restful and busy. Also, your diaper bag should come along with a diaper pad. This would make changing a lot uncomplicated and convenient.

Recently diaper bags are not just baby accessories but a fashion statement. They come in countless shades, designs, patterns and fabric types. Diaper bags can now match the charm and allure of your children. Usually worn as a shoulder bag, many brands are now introducing messenger types, backpacks and totes too.

Selecting a particular diaper bag can be quite overwhelming because of the unending alternatives.
