In these times of globalization and the global economy, more and more people in the U.S. and Canada are learning to speak other languages. The most popular second language for North Americans is Spanish, for several reasons. Probably mainly because it’s the language spoken by our next-door neighbors, South of the border.

The best way to learn to speak Spanish is to take an interactive audio course. Good ones are available that you can buy and download from the Internet immediately. Once on your hard disk in mp3 format, you can offload copies to your iPod or other portable listening device. Or you could burn the lessons into CD’s and play them back on any CD player anywhere.

Probably the best interactive-audio course available is Rocket Spanish. They use excellent native speakers to teach you so you can learn to speak Spanish without an accent.

How do you learn Spanish? Well, how did you learn English? You learned English vocally, learning a few words, then practicing them in conversations, gradually adding to your vocabulary and learning how to communicate effectively.

It’s the same way with learning Spanish. Forget the classroom drudgery of memorizing words for vocabulary and conjugating verbs. Start with the basics, learn to communicate, THEN get into the rules! Children can speak pretty good English long before they study grammar, or even know what that word means!

Of all the ways you might go about learning Spanish, getting a learn Spanish program from Rocket Spanish is the best.
