The tradition of giving flowers has been around forever. Symbolic use of flowers can be seen in Roman mythology, ancient Chinese writings and even Egyptian heiroglyphs. What should you send? Here’s a quick quide:
Valentines Day - Roses, Roses and more Roses! Nothing else needs to be said except mabye Red.
Birthday - Anything Bright and cheerful. The favorite flower of the birthay girl/boy is always a perfect choice.
Anniversary - Most anything goes here. Try and match the “personality” of the couple to the flowers. A surprise would be perfect.
Wedding - Seasonal flowers! Pastel, light flowers usually work best early in the year while darker, more vibrant colors work best in the fall.
Christmas - You can’t go wrong with a poinsettia. For flowers, stick with white and red (or pink) and make sure there is plenty of green in the arangement. Including holly (with red berries) is great.
Easter - Lilies, white carnations and roses are great.

Father’s Day - Something sturdy. Blooming roses or tropical flowers. It doesn’t need to be a flower, any plant will do.
New Baby - Brightly colored flowers. Anything to brighten up the room that is full of excitement.
Sympath/Funeral - Make sure it is white! Gladiolas, carnatios and daises.
Get Well - Bright flowers. Bright red or yellow with a creative vase is best.
Graduation - Plenty of color. Lilies are an excellent choice, pink, orange and blue would be perfect.
Housewarming - Something simple. A variety of flowers from your garden in a simple vase would be great.
