My husband and I decided to put our first homes up for sale a (few|couple} weeks ago. It was a plush starter home , but we have really outgrown it. The houses also doesn’t have some of the major things that we want in a house . Having only two full bathroom with three people has proven to be an issue over the last two years. We discussed possibly having to get cheap self storage Phoenix if it sells to quickly. We want to be able to take our time finding our next home. We don’t want to be rushed like we were when we bought this house. We were in a hurry to get out of our trailer because the term was up and we wanted to purchase something.
We got the call two days ago. It sold after just a couple of years on the market. We really were not expecting that. The homes will close in five weeks. That’s not very much time at all. The next one months will have to be spent packing and getting ready to move. We won’t even have time to really focus on looking at a new home . We are going to put all of our furniture and most of our belongings in a Public Storage unit until we have found what we are looking for.
I am really excited and nervous at the same time. This is a massive change in our lives. We are estimating that we will have our stuff in Public-storage for about six weeks, maybe just a little longer. We are going to stay with family for those two months while we look.
