I’ve got two quick tips for you to make sure that your husband is happy and you are happy too.
Number one - make sure that you really know what a past, present, future diamond ring is. It is what we call a three stone diamond ring. It means that on your ring you have three big diamonds, and it symbolizes that your love will last forever. If you want to make sure that your stones are beautiful and you pay as little money as you can, let me tell you a little dirty secret; but don’t tell your husband.
What you do, is you buy three diamonds, but one point less than the normal carat. So for example, instead of buying three one carat diamonds, you buy three .90 carat diamonds. That way, your husband won’t be able to see the diffrence, but you’ll pay a lot less money. It’s the same thing for the men. If you want to impress your future wife, you can use the same strategy.
Know the four C’s. When you know the four C’s you’ll be able to use your spider senses to know when somebody’s trying to screw you. The four C’s are the cut, the clarity, the color, and the carat.
One of the most important things is the cut. Why? Because if the diamond is well cut, you will have a ring that has a lot of sparkle. The other one that’s important is the clarity. You can have a diamond that is low graded in the clarity and save money, because most of the imperfections cannot be seen to the naked eye.
My third tip is very simple. It’s the carat secret. The carat is basically the weight of the diamond. So if you buy a diamond that is a little less than what you wanted, you won’t see the difference, but you’ll save money. So for example, instead of buying a three carat diamond ring, you can buy a 2.9 carat diamond ring. That way, you’ll save money.
