It is said that diseases became prevalent when cooking was created. Although it is a well known fact that boiling eradicates microbes, there are quite a few things that we haven’t really considered, like the effect of boiling on food vitamins and minerals. It may be possible that illnesses evolved when man learned how to cook.

Cooking is an ancient art. The origins of baking and food processing came about thousands of years ago. Is it just coincidence that the most harmful diseases also came about in the same period? And now, these are the same diseases that are making life hard for man.

What this indicates is that by cooking food we are creating an atmosphere that is conducive to the development of diseases. Foods in their natural form are great healers. Raw foods can help get rid of toxins and will not add toxins to the body.

The type of foods that fresh food has got, like fresh veggies, fruits, sprouts, herbs and the purest form of water is a panacea for many of the problems of the body. For this reason, your best kitchen appliance should be a power juicer equipment.

This type of diet involves usage of food in their natural (uncooked) form. Cooking should be very minimal, with the temperature hardly ever reaching fifty degrees to preserve the food’s life giving factors.

Because fresh food ensures that enzymes are retained in its purest form, all its foods make for easy digestion and the resultant easy assimilation into the system. Food must also be taken right after harvesting, without wasting too much time in storage. Storage usually does not help conserve vitamins and minerals.

The sooner we consume the food, the more biophotons (or prana enzymes) we can consume. No negative side effects have been reported by using fresh food products.

Raw food diet is a good way to obtain the greatest amount of nutrient from food. Fresh juice has vitamins, anti-oxidants (example: resveratrol - inside naturally grown red grapes) fiber, amino acids and they help your acid base equilibrium. To devise the best mixtures of fruit and vegetable juice, you will need a power juicer.

At the other end of the food spectrum we find things like fast foods, dairy products, and breads, pastas and cakes and cookies that are eaten by a vast majority of the populace every day. These foods still have minerals and vitamins but a good percentage of these life giving substances cannot survive the process of heating or are lost by cooking.

A good example is when we boil eggs and inadvertently change the atomic structure of the amino acids. It is often talked about that the loss of so many vitamins and minerals can be the cause of a shorter lifetime.
