Howdy, This is Justyna, and have more makeup than I know what to do with, but I have been pretty effing lazy recently when it comes to mix and matching colours. On a daily basis, chances are I awakened late and do not have much time to put more than least effort into making my face, so I slap on an eyeshadow, sporadically eyeliner, mascara, and run out the door. Sadly it wasn’t till I received a bunch of Motives makeup to try that I realized how severely i have been neglecting one of my only real passions : playing in cosmetics.

Motives Cosmetics by Loren Ridinger is a fairly new line that isn’t enormous, but definitely should be. It’s not super costly, and many cosmetics firms don’t get that quality doesn’t must be at once related with cost. This is not one of those companies. The Pressed Eye Shade ( $12 ) feels literally like velvet.

It picks up on a brush pretty simply, but I just wish to use my pinky finger to mix the colours. I tried on some different shades over the course of a week to get a understanding of all of the colours. They are not super-heavy, so it’s probably not best as a stage makeup brand, but it works rather well for wearing to parties and so on . You may also mix the colors with a little water to get a heavier look. The Kohl Eyeliner ( $14 ) goes on smoothly and also makes a solid base for a liquid liner, if you want to be out for hours at a time and do not need motives makeup wearing out before you do.

I am routinely not ardent on powder foundation at ALL ( it makes my face look dry and gross ), but the Liquid Powder Foundation with SPF fifteen ( $24.95 ) went on smoothly and didn’t have a cakey finish. While I won’t wear it every day, it’s got great coverage for Sat. Nights and times I’m on camera ( hi-def is a bitch )

Last saturday I was headed to a party, so I believed it’d be delightful to layer their new gloss ( coming directly on the site over the wealthy Color Lipstick in Venetian Red ( $14 ). I got a large amount of compliments, and the partner liked it, so when I awakened the following day still a touch lagered and prepared to wear a fun outfit for Sun. Funday ( read : palatable breakfast and unlimited mimosas, amen ), I was wearing it again for more oomph.

At last, i have been wearing the Pressed Blush in Runway ( $13.50 ) for the past few days instead of my usual cheek stain. It’s not made a giant difference, but that is the point, right? I was wearing it to a latest office party, got lots of compliments, I love Motives Cosmetics !
