Staying a week in an Akumal villa is essential! My friends and I wanted to spend our spring vacation at the beach. One of my friends suggested us his vacation home in Akumal to stay since we haven’t found a place to accommodate ourselves in Tulum, which was our first plan.
We didn’t knew what Akumal was, not even where was it, but we all agreed on renting his villa in Akumal and made plans to met there, since half of the group came from Venezuela and half from Mexico.
When I arrived Akumal I couldn’t think to be true where I was, it was some kind of a fisherman’s village, merged with european-like province with a tad of Hawaiian/Caribbean ambiance.
We saw no big resorts, nor insane spring breakers; the small town was filled with locals and cordial large tourist families. We loved the place since the moment we got there!
We headed towards Akumal Villa’s area, and we were really amused by the excellent villas that we saw, but it wasn’t till we arrived to our house that we really started slobbering.
The vacation was our all time favorite; since we had all types of exciting experiences and practiced every water sport type. The night life offered special and fun activities; from Playa del Carmen’s unusual night clubbing to seaside starry and sandy Akumal friendly bar.
Don’t hesitate when choosing a beach holiday place, select and book an Akumal villa and have the experience of a life time.
