My little boy is finally growing up. He is almost 4 years old and acting every bit like a 7 year old. We recently moved into a new home and he finally gets his own room. We came from a small apartment where he had to share space with my office supplies. But now we have a huge ranch house in the country with enough room for him to roam around inside and out.
One of my main goals now is to decorate his room. Since he loves to read so much I am going to him his own kid rocker to read in. This way he can feel as if he has his own space. After that we are going to need some kids storage as well. I am thinking of either a book shelf or a bench seat with doors that open upward to store his toys, books and other playthings.
In addition to all that, he is now able to brush his own teeth at nights. He has been using a boring old step stool. To surprise him, I have been looking some really cute kids step stools. There are different designs available. Things like pirates, surfers, trains and fire trucks. He is into a lot of things these days, I am sure any of those designs will make his new room decor really nice. The last thing I think we need for his new room is a kids rocking horse toy. He always loves to ride those at the fair.
