Industrial music has often been darker, more negative, but that is changing. There is this cool recovery music I stumbled across by Matt Soren recently that has a fresh perspective on industrial rock music. His album is a mix of electro-rock and the story of beating addiction.
There are some music downloads on his URL at www.returnfrombroken.com. It sounds like the songs are temporary in lou of mastered mixes. They sound really good to me but I am no audiophile. It is cool to see more electro-rock like this written directly for addiction recovery in a more satisfying way from an addict that has already been through it and is making an impact for others. Plus It’s nice to see this type of synth-rock stemming from the industrial scene which is usually more archaic in nature. Nice!
Oh yeah, he has free mp3’s you can get from his url and more in his members area which is all free. I also saw discount passes, graphics, and other stuff. It will be nice to see the album once it is available.
