So, what is so special about writing? That is, I need to write few articles a week about Akumal on my second language and I found it terribly hard!
I speak the language to perfection and I’ve been to Akumal almost every weekend for the past 11 months and still I found it hard to just sit and write about it. I know that part of my writing issue comes when my limited creativity and life experience is compared by my unfaithful mind to the writing of the authors of my great literature taste.

So I better start by writing my own experience, but I should warn you since my story is amazing, my life drastically and positively became different after making the decision of leaving the big city to establish my new home next to Akumal.
Akumal, situated in the Riviera Maya, is the place where I found love! I literally left my heart in Akumal and I just had to return for it. It’s not only about the withe powdery sandy beach, nor the hypnotyc color of the sea, it’s not about the peace you experience nor about the delicious and fresh food you taste, not even about the great people living there!
It’s something very special. Something that you have to come to feel it by yourself to be able to understand. Belive me, you will also fall in love to the place as I did.
